The Umpfertallauf is a highlight of the Unterschüpfer Weintage, which always take place at the end of August and are organized by the triathlon department of TSV Unterschüpf. The race offers various distances: the 10 km main race, the 10 km relay race, the 5 km fun run, as well as student and children's races. The flat out-and-back course is ideal for less experienced runners and starts at the marketplace, runs along the bike path to Schweigern, and ends back at the marketplace. The event concludes with an awards ceremony in the festival tent.
